Being of Egyptian descent, Nayima Hassan is a Middle Eastern Dance Teacher and Performer of international status, experience and repute. Her performances overseas have been acclaimed as far as Egypt. Nayima's passion for this classical women's dance of her ancestry has led her abroad from Australia to America, England, Europe and Lebanon with yearly visits to Egypt to master her art through study with the world's foremost teachers, performers and musicians. Nayima is proudly invited to teach and perform overseas and interstate on a regular basis.

Our Teaching Team
Our quality teaching team is first rate.
Representing a myriad of ethnic backgrounds such as Egyptian,
Greek, Lebanese, Spanish, Italian, Columbian, Italian, Dutch,
Australian and more, they comprise
our colourful, cultural cocktail of instructors. Personally trained by
Nayima to teach her methods, they are professional and personable as
our class aim is to present Middle Eastern dance in a fun and supportive
environment. Ongoing teacher training ensures students enjoy a harmonious
flow of artistic and technical elements throughout the class levels.
Our loyal teaching team is the perfect compliment to Adelaide's Mecca
of Middle Eastern dance - Belly Dance Academy of Nayima Hassan.

Harnie:
Harnie began studying Classical Indian dance at the age of 3 at
Bharathaa Arts Co in Singapore. She has performed on television and stage in
Singapore, India, Europe and Australia. After 10 years of teaching experience in
both Classical Indain and Bollywood dance, Harnie will be joining our team right
here in Franklin Street, Adelaide presenting "Bollywood Classical." |

New Teacher: Keke

Keke: Keke is of Greek / Egyptian heritage and began her study of Middle Eastern Dance here at our academy 14 years ago. She has been operating her own academy in Japan for the past 6 years and has since sponsored and studied with some of the world's leading exponents of Arabic Dance. Keke's passion for this dance and her delightful personality have made her popular both here in SA and internationally. |

Marianthi is a statuesque goddess of Greek heritage who adds a spice of her own Tsiftitelli (Greek Belly Dancing) to her Arabic dance classes.

Bibiana: Bibiana is an
effervescent Columbian lady who recently migrated to Australia.
Having studied Middle Eastern dance overseas she furthered her
dance training on a student and professional level with Nayima
to become a valued member of our teaching team. Her natural
Latin feel for rhythm adapts perfectly to the spirit of
Arabic
dance.

Victoria: Victoria of
Spanish heritage, fell in love with Middle Eastern dance some
years ago via her connection with our sister dance, Flamenco. As
both a professional Flamenco and Belly Dance instructor and
performer, Victoria brings her experience of both dance arts to
her Belly Dance classes. (Image coming soon)
Katrina: Katrina is a
talented and attractive young lady possessing a mix of two
strong ethnic cultures. Being half Lebanese and half Italian she
is full of energy and life. Katrina is well liked by all and we
warmly welcome her as a valuable member of our teaching team. (Image coming soon)
